What we completed last month

User Experience

We try to make it as easy and user-friendly as possible to use our platform, with self-explanatory text and more images both on our web and mobile apps.

• We released avatar uploads and integrated it to our leaderboard.
• We are innovating our predictions and the tournaments rules frequently to have a better and more rewarding experience.

After receiving great feedback on the World Cup tournament, sponsored by BetOnChart, we received a great opportunity to introduce the Wimbledon Cup tournament sponsored by Iagon. We hope you all will enjoy it as much as you’ve enjoyed our World Cup tournament so far. Operational Improvements

We had quite a few tasks on operations to make the time your STX tokens are locked on predictions as little time as possible. This means a faster release of STX is here and soon it will be done even faster.

Optimizations

Optimization was our focal point for this month. We tackled both client side and server side tasks and the results were outstanding. We were able to reduce the server load by almost 40%, by executing these small tasks which added up to resulting in big changes.

We implemented several changes and streamlined many processes, simply by using standard optimizations which include:

• debouncing,
• paging,
• caching,
• filtering of data,
• image compression, and
• re-organizing some of the pages requests (pre-fetching).

Launch of our Mobile App

We launched our first app on Google Play during this past month. So far the feedback has been excellent, and we encourage you all to use it and communicate any improvements you would like to see.

Preparing for our Hackathon

As we promised in our Roadmap, we’ll be hosting a hackathon before the end of summer.

There is still a lot more we can and will do, so we’d like to extend our thanks for the feedback and we appreciate all of our Stox HODLers who continue to share their feedback with us.

Ongoing Work

Through all the small bugs that we’re set on killing we have bigger plans coming up, here is preview of what is to come:

• Oracles Blockchain integration
• My status — This is an active real-time status on ranking points, which can be found on the home page. We believe this will help make the platform more user friendly, as it gives important info at a glance. This way you’ll always know where you stand with your Ranking points and the amount available in your balance.
• More Telegram integration including a Stox bot. We plan on adding more ways for our HODLers to get the information they need in an instantaneous manner.
• Implementing the Stox score — An ICO scoring system based on Machine Learning models
• We’ve created a recommendation system that will help the users get to the next prediction easily. This continues to be optimized and we will continue to update it as the functionality improves.
